2.30. Replacement of the fuel filter
1. Works are performed on the cold engine.
Carburetor engines, mechanical pump
2. The fuel filter is mounted in the right forward corner of a motor compartment.
3. Weaken collars and displace them from unions.
4. Carefully disconnect hoses.
5. Get the filter from a bracket and install the new filter, attach hoses and tighten collars. Start the engine and be convinced of lack of a leak.
Electric pump
B. The filter is mounted on the right side on a frame, near the pump. Access to the filter is complicated. Merge also a tank gasoline, weaken collars and displace them from the union (photo).
7. Carefully disconnect hoses.
8. Get the filter from a bracket, having paid attention to its orientation on an arrow (the arrow specifies the direction of a stream). Install the new filter, attach hoses and tighten collars. Start the engine and be convinced of a leak otsutsvtiya.
Injector engines
9. Execute a decompression of fuel system (Hl. 4)
10. Weaken collars and displace them from unions (photo).
11. Carefully disconnect hoses.
12. Weaken a collar and remove the filter.
13. Get the filter, having paid attention to its orientation on an arrow (the arrow specifies the direction of a stream). Install the new filter, attach hoses of t tighten collars. Start the engine and be convinced of lack of a leak.
