2.34. Check and adjustment of turns of idling (engines with fuel injection)
1. Independent check and adjustment of turns of idling is allowed on the engines after 1990 equipped with system of direct injection. Connect a tachometer according to the instruction of the manufacturer. Before adjustment switch-off all units of fuel system providing automatic adjustment of idling (Hl. 4 and 6).
а). On V6 engines disconnect the socket of perepuskny air AAS-of the valve (photo). On K24 engines disconnect the socket from the sensor of an angle of rotation of a butterfly valve.
б). Check installation of ignition (see below),
в). Rotating the screw, establish turns of idling (photo).
г). Attach sockets and bring turns to 2000 rpm, sustain the engine in such mode within several minutes.
д). If the engine still unstably idles, then check and adjust quality of mix (SO) in service of car service.
