2.4. Check of level of liquids

1. Before check install the car on the flat horizontal platform.
Oil in the engine
2. Level of oil is checked by the probe (photo).
3. Level of oil is checked before driving on the car, or about 15 minutes later after an engine stop.

4. Get the control probe from a tube and wipe it pure rags or a tissue. Insert the pure probe against the stop into a branch pipe and again get. Level has to be between marks L (at least) and N (at most).
5. Support oil level only between the specified marks.
6. Add oil through a mouth on a cover of a head of cylinders (photo).

4.8 Broad tank of the cooling system


7. Attentively check a condition of oil on the probe. Emulsion pollution can be caused by cracks in the block or in a head of cylinders, and also laying destruction therefore it is necessary to check a condition of the engine.
Cooling liquid
8. All cars considered in this manual have the cooling system of elevated pressure with return of liquid to a broad tank (photo).
9. On the cold engine level has to be between marks of "MIN' and "MOVE" on a broad tank On the heated-up engine level can be near the mark "MAH". If it is necessary to restore level, then wait for cooling of the engine, uncover a broad tank and add liquid of necessary structure antifreeze/water (50/50 are recommended).
10. After a trip check level again.

11. Need of a frequent dolivaniye indicates violation of tightness of system. Check existence on a radiator, hoses and demountable connections of traces of dribbles in the form of spots, or uvlazhneniye. Check of level of electrolyte
17. New cars are completed with batteries with the transparent case in which the level of electrolyte is visible through the case (photo). If necessary add the distilled water.
Restoration of level of liquid in a hydraulic actuator of brakes and couplings
18. The main cylinder of brakes and its tank are mounted on the vacuum amplifier in a motor compartment. The main cylinder of coupling is mounted on a partition of a motor compartment.
19. Level of liquid has to be between the marks min and max in tanks (photo).
20. In a tank of brakes add only liquid of the recommended brand, mixing of liquids of various brands is not allowed.

Attention!
Brake fluid makes harmful effects on eyes and destroys a paint and varnish covering therefore filling in liquid be careful. Brake fluid absorbs moisture from air therefore it is forbidden to fill in liquid which was a long time in an open container in brakes. Excess of moisture leads to dangerous loss of efficiency of braking.

21. At detection of pollution liquid should be merged and replaced.
22. After restoration of level densely wrap a tank stopper.

23. During normal work of system liquid level gradually goes down in process of wear of brake slips. If frequent addition of brake fluid is required, then in a hydraulic actuator of system there is a leak which should be eliminated immediately.
24. If level liquid in tanks is lower than norm, then it is necessary to remove air from a hydraulic actuator.
