2.26. Check of the thermostat of the air filter
The thermostat is mounted in a nozzle of the air filter and provides switching of the highway of the sucked-in air (photo).
For check remove disconnect an air duct and start the engine. Watch the thermostat by means of a mirror. On the cold engine the delitelny gate of the thermostat has to block the channel of cold air (photo). In process of warming up of the engine (in 10-15 min.) the gate has to be slightly opened. Extent of opening is defined by air temperature.
