2.45. Check and installation of the moment of ignition.

Attention!
On engines after 1990 the moment of ignition is regulated by automatically processor block.

1. When checking an angle of installation of ignition be guided by data in the plate strengthened from the vnutry party of a cowl.
2. On 4-cylinder engines the moment of ignition is checked on combination of a mark in a pulley the crankshaft with division of the scale mounted over a pulley (photo) the Tag 0 there corresponds VMT.
3. Designate a mark in a pulley light paint
4. On the V6 engine the ignition moment the scale is checked on combination of the motionless index from division on the scale applied on a pulley of an uspokoitel (photo).
5. Check idling turns, if necessary adjust. Connect a stroboscope according to the instruction of the manufacturer.
6. Warm up the engine, stop and disconnect devices which are specified in the podkapotny plate for this engine
7. Attach a stroboscope according to the instruction from a gotovitel.
8. Start the engine, press 2-3 times the accelerator pedal and transfer to the idling mode.
9. Direct stroboscope light to a crankshaft pulley the Lit tag has to be opposite to the corresponding division of a scale.
10. In need of adjustment release adjusting bolts of the distributor.
11. For installation of ignition turn the distributor case before combination of a tag with the necessary division of a scale (photo). Tighten bolts and again check installation of ignition.
12. Disconnect a stroboscope and check idling turns, if necessary adjust.
13. If at a trip ringing knocks at the movement of the car on rise are listened or at dispersals, then again attach a stroboscope and reduce an advancing corner on 1 - 2 °.
