3.1. General information
In this Part types of the works on repair of engines performed directly on the car are described. In all described below operations on repair it is meant that the engine from the car is not dismantled.
Engines are verkhneklapanny, with the cam-shaft drive from a chain. The tension of a chain is regulated by a rubber boot. On engines the head of cylinders from aluminum alloy is established.
On the Z24 engine about 2 candles on the cylinder (photo) are provided.
The distributor of ignition and the oil pump have the drive from a uniform spiral gear wheel of the crankshaft.
The crankshaft is greased under pressure. The cam-shaft and the gas-distributing mechanism are greased under pressure and spraying.
