5.14. The block of cylinders - check of a state
1. At detection of outer defects (cracks and chips), repair the block or replace. It is recommended to check existence of Internal defects in the block of cylinders for what it is necessary to hand over the block in a workshop of car service.
2. Check ovality and conicity of cylinders, having measured diameter in three planes, in the directions parallel and perpendicular axes of the block (photo). If results differ from standard, then the block should be handed over in a repair workshop. After restoration of the block pistons and rings of the repair sizes will be necessary.
3. If the condition of cylinders accepted wear of the cylinder and a gap between the cylinder and the piston do not exceed the established norms, then cylinders it is required to otkhon-ningovat (photo). Works are recommended to be performed in car service.
4. Check deformation of the demountable plane of the block of cylinders (photo). If the deviation from the plane exceeds norm, then the block should be proshlifovat in a workshop of car service. Thickness of the material removed from the block should not exceed thickness of the material removed from a head. If the total size by which decreased the block an igolovka after grinding exceeds 0,2 mm, then the head and the block should be replaced.
