5.5. Capital repairs of the engine - general information
When performing capital repairs it is recommended to check, repair or replace the generator, a starter and the distributor of ignition. Preliminary amount of works and cost of restoration of the engine (repair of a head, the block of cylinders, krivoshipno-conrod and valvate mechanisms) is determined by its state at the time of removal and dismantling. The condition of the block of cylinders which in some cases is expedient for replacing (see below) is defining. At assembly of the repaired engine all laying and a sealant without fail is replaced.
