6.1. The cooling system - general information
The pump, the thermostat, broad tank and hoses (photo) belong to the cooling system a radiator with the safety valve.
Circulation of liquid in the engine is provided with the centrifugal pump mounted in a forward part of the block of cylinders. Heated liquid warms the case of the gate and the soaking-up collector. On cars with automatic transmission in the lower part of a radiator the cooler of transmission liquid is mounted. On cars with the conditioner before a radiator the condenser is installed. Krylchatka of the fan of cooling has the drive from the hydraulic coupling. On a part of cars the temperature regulator is built in the coupling, i.e. the fan turns on after warming up of the engine when the krylchatka is entered into gearing with shaft by means of a thermobimetallic spiral spring. The coupling is non-demountable, care of it is not required.

3.9 The thermostat is installed so that the ventilating valve (1) or the vibration valve (2) were turned up.
