11.3. Draft of management of transmission - adjustment

Cars with the floor selector
1. Translate the selector from situation P in "1", at the same time operation of a clamp in all intermediate positions has to be felt. If operation is not felt, or the index does not coincide with designations, then draft needs to be adjusted.
2. Transfer the selector to situation P.
3. Release lock-nuts (photo).
Rear wheel drive cars
4. Tighten a lock-nut of X (photo) against the stop in a selector arm, pressing the lever in the direction of situation R (not to press the button).
5. Turn off a lock-nut of X on 1/2-1/4 turn and tighten with the set moment.
All-wheel drive cars since 1987.
6. Pressing the lever in the direction of situation R (not to press the button), tighten a screw coupler until the coupler is not combined with a vein of a cable (photo).
7. Turn off a coupler on 1 turn and tighten lock-nuts with the set moment.
